Understand the problem before defining the work
I use research, journey mapping, and workflow analysis to understand the people, the service, and where things break down. Those findings shape the direction and priorities.
My work spans shopping, mobility, connected health, cloud infrastructure, and AI. Each has taught me something different about how people make choices. I bring those experiences together to understand where people need more control, where guidance helps, and which decisions they shouldn’t have to make.
My career has taken me from agency work across brands and consumer products to AWS Service Catalog and, most recently, product design at Ryoma AI.
That range gives me different experiences to draw from when a new problem comes along. I enjoy learning how something works, finding connections, and working with a team to decide which ideas are worth pursuing.

I use information architecture, interaction design, and interface design to shape the experience. AI helps me build realistic prototypes quickly, so we can test, refine, or rethink the approach.
I partner with engineering to resolve constraints and make tradeoffs as we build. That includes interface copy, design systems, and the details of interactions and error recovery.
My range gives me different approaches to draw from. I look for useful connections across projects, then test whether they fit the people and problem in front of us.
